Ito on eBay?

Has anyone ever bought the cheap tsuka ito from ebay? It looks like it comes from China and I was wondering if a person would ever receive their goods once the money was sent. I do not need high quality material as I am still perfecting my technique. If anyone could point me in a better direction , it would be appreciated. Regards Scott

Cotton ito is available at Namikawa Heibei Shoten and is pretty inexpensive. Wonderful folks to deal with and completely trustworthy.

I second that. Great to deal with, and the cotton ito prices are very fair indeed. They have great reputations here on the NMB, have dealt with them numerous times.

I believe they do offer Katchu Yogu including different ito for do, sode, kabuto, etc..

They don't have it on their website, but carry (or can order) parts for armor restauration. I bought some very nice silk Agemaki from them; they had the big one for the helmet in stock, and ordered the smaller one for the Saihai-no Kan, which took only a couple of days.
