Scratches obscure much of the hamon, but there is a patch that is clear, and looks interesting.

Hi Geraint, length of blade, sori and jigane made me think late koto,.

Could be ubu, in which case, it could be Muromachi uchigatana. Can't tell much about the jigane, but I see both togari & what might be choji-midare hamon, confused by the tobiyaki.
