Any Idea about this tanto.

 

I think its Meiji/Showa or very late Edo.

 

I tried to figure out wich school or smith it could by. The yasurime is well carved. Straight lines but no other decoration.

 

What you think?

Nice blade; the photos do not allow a very good analysis of the nakago...what is up with the transition from the nakago to the habakidai, seems to be a filed elevation change.

The blade is very nice. But was on sell on Ebay and there was the photo of torokusho where result the nakago was signed and not mumei. I thick the mei was removed and the yasurime changed.

How do you know it is the same blade? Link?

The link was removed from ebay, but i have the photos of the blade where is cleary visible the yasurime are changed

Stefano, did you kow what was described? Looks like the overview picture is from AOI-Arts.

 

Looks really that the mei was removed.
