PietroParis Posted January 13, 2020 Report Posted January 13, 2020 From a total noob: are we looking at thin scratches? 1 Quote

Ray Singer Posted January 13, 2020 Report Posted January 13, 2020 I think that this is likely to be a Sue-Seki blade. 1 Quote

It seems to be a tired but still interesting MINO blade with a lot of HATARAKI. Unfortunately these are not underlined and enhanced by the polish. The very simple linear HADORI slightly obscures the shape of the nice HAMON. 3 Quote
Blazeaglory Posted January 13, 2020 Report Posted January 13, 2020 Kita ware exposed? Not bad in my eyes but some collectors find it ugly. Tired from polishes Personally I can see past it and notice the hamon looking very nice. 3 Quote
Ken-Hawaii Posted January 14, 2020 Report Posted January 14, 2020 Agree there are still stone marks, & that the blade is past its prime. Too bad, as it once was quite nice. Quote
