Okay, I think it is a little bit unfair to say gimei without an explanation. Signature # 1 is a wakizashi with Tokubetso Hozon. The blade is published in the Kotetsu Taikan.

And here is signature # 2.  the only known naginata naoshi by Kotesu. Juyo Token.

Your absolutely right use. Thank you for elaborating. Kotetsu is a very very big name and unfortunately many forgeries were made. That's part of dealing with nihonto so it is what it is. I suggest before buying a piece you do you due diligence and research as many authentic signed pieces and do your best to compare the mei. Still tricky but should be done
