He was 67 years old. The wake will begin at 6:00 p.m. on December 30th and the funeral service will be held on December 31st at 11:00 a.m. Yoshikawa Sensei was active in recent years arranging, attending, and judging shinsa overseas which helped bring up sword scholarship worldwide.
