Joryc444 Posted December 12, 2019 Report Posted December 12, 2019 Just purchased. Can anyone give me any info on it? Quote
ChrisW Posted December 12, 2019 Report Posted December 12, 2019 Appears to be a genuine seki-stamped showato. I unfortunately cannot read the kanji, someone else will have to! Make sure to put your name or what you want us to address you by in the signature line. Quote

16k Posted December 12, 2019 Report Posted December 12, 2019 Showato made in Seki, so not traditionally made Quote
Austus Posted December 13, 2019 Report Posted December 13, 2019 Congratulations on your new sword. You came to the right place for information. Recommend you check out the FAQ section in the sign-in bar for good basics. Don't clean anything! Maybe put a little oil on the blade, but not the tang. If it's your first sword, you did good. More items like yours are found in the Military swords section. Quote
