Do I have to explain every joke ? Capt. Willard was waiting for a mission in Saigon .... the room is getting smaller while the vietcongs are getting stronger, in the jungle. Geez........... don't you ever watch movies ?

Thanks again John. Looked it up, and it really is a great book. We have a nice library of books for the raffle and it will be first drawn, first choice again on the books, so a chance to really improve the library.

Raffle page will probably go up at the end of November when I get back, but leaving in a week and a half..so if anyone has any pics or items to submit, please send them asap.

I doubt I will be able to get everything listed before the Japan trip, so I think we have until I get back (end of Nov) to get pics and items sorted out. Will also be looking in Japan to see what I can buy to offer for the raffle.

Careful what tsuba you bring to any gatherings in Japan to show...you might not make it back home with them :lol: :D

Thanks Eric, great prize and one that isn't usually in many libraries. (Should be)

We also have some nice new prizes from Ted and a few other ppl, and I think there will be more than 20 prizes this year. Books, as per last year, will be given as first drawn gets first pick, so most will be able to get something they don't have. We have more than 10 books and catalogs so far, and it will take time to go down the list, so I think books are sorted for the raffle, thanks folks. Oneday I'll approach some of the Japanese and other dealers who get so much free publicity here, and see if i can get them to reach into their pockets. Better than selling advertising :lol:
