Strider Posted September 10, 2008 Report Posted September 10, 2008 Hello to all after a long absence. I have several items that I would like to post pictures of for consideration by this forums members. What is the best way to photograph detail and hada? I will be using a minolta dslr with a 90mm macro lens. Are there any tricks with lighting, background colors, distance? Any input would be appreciated. I am trying to determine if my blades warrant professional polishing and saya. Thanks Scott Quote

Jeff Pringle Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 I advise you to consider the angle of reflection, and the background that your subject that is reflecting...That's all I can say for now! Quote
Darcy Posted September 13, 2008 Report Posted September 13, 2008 Please note that this (Edit Admin - refers to article linked that has been removed by poster) is copyrighted material. I keep trying to remove it from archive.org but it doesn't seem to stick. People have abused my article unfortunately and copy it willy nilly, and I took it down a long time ago because of this. I would appreciate that if people find copies of it that they notify me, rather than posting them. Quote
