Emma Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 How is it possible to buy a real Muramasa blade on Aoi even though a wakizashi for 3 000 000 yen ? Is it a bargain????? It seems to me it is the Graal ...? What do you think? Quote
ROKUJURO Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 Depends on what MURAMASA and the condition. Quote
Stephen Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 3,000,000 Japanese Yen equals 27,777.01 United States Dollar Quote
Geraint Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 Dear Stephen. I know where you are heading with this but for this sword there are NBTHK Hozon and NTHK Yushu saku papers. Here it is, https://www.aoijapan.com/wakizashi-gold-inlay-kin-zogan-muramasa/ So suriage with kinzogan mei and still a fair old heap of change for 3million yen. All the best. Quote
Ray Singer Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 I dislike commenting on active auctions, but just want to mention that these are Fujishiro Yushu kanteisho, which is different from the NTHK's Yushu Saku designation (their equivalent to the NBTHK's Juyo Token). Neither the Fujishiro or NBTHK papers specify that this is a work of the nidai Muramasa. Quote
Stephen Posted October 31, 2019 Report Posted October 31, 2019 I thought Emma org post said $3000.. I thought it was a typo. Might have been me misreading it. So not sure what you thought i thought. Quote
