ChrisM Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 Another image from my shoot last weekend. This is a Tokubetsu-Hozon Tōken ranked Wazakashi, with roses and CO2 fog via Dry Ice. Processing was a bit in Photomatix to drive contrast, and then some spot adjustment in Lightroom. A high resolution version of this image can be found here. //Chris Quote
ChrisW Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 I understand the contrast you're going for with the blade and the flowers. But I almost want to say it'd be just as elegant without the flowers. The show IS the blade after all. I'd even remove the tsuka to have just the metal components stand in relation to the fog. 1 Quote
ROKUJURO Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 Perhaps two TSUBAKI petals would have done the job.....BTW, it is WAKIZASHI. Quote

PNSSHOGUN Posted September 16, 2019 Report Posted September 16, 2019 Nice flowers, get the sword out of there and it would make more sense. 1 Quote
