Hi Bruce, which shop was that?

The little one on Shiyakusadori Avenue, on the hill down from  Macdonalds by Narita JR Station? or the one further down towards Naritasanshinshoji on Omotesando Street?

Malcolm, it’s the one around the corner from McDonalds.

Brian, I didn’t buy it, my hobby money fund is too low right now! He didn’t have a price on it yet, and it’s not registered. He said it would take a couple of weeks to get a certificate.

Hi Bruce,

If you are still in Narita, there is a really good martial arts equipment shop which sells a variety of sword bags, sageo etc. (They also have an embroidery service for bags etc.)

If you go past the main entrance of Naritasanshinshoji and turn first left, follow the road (Higashiyama Avenue) along past the shop on the corner which sells incense and the Budogu - Ya is about 100 yards down on your right, next to the car park.

They are really friendly and have some English.

They are closed on Mondays as far as I recall.

Further down are some great shops, one of which sells Japanese festival clothes and Samue and the "Rabbit" Cafe, which is really good.

Ask for " Ra- Bi- Toe -  Kiss A Ten "

You really can't get lost as if you continue down there, bearing right will bring you back to the general area of the Keisei Narita Eki Station and the APA hotel amongst others.

Or you can walk up the flight of steps on the left where the multi coloured windmill toys are, and you are back into the Naritasanshinshoji grounds.
