TETSUGENDO Posted September 1, 2019 Report Posted September 1, 2019 Review my remarks again, I SAID TOOTHBRUSH. This is a charming pastime but....Ich bin müde! -S-
Henry Wilson Posted September 1, 2019 Report Posted September 1, 2019 Review my remarks again, I SAID TOOTHBRUSH. This is a charming pastime but....Ich bin müde! -S- First you said this: "a clean brush will not obviate the grit.” Then Ford said this “a soft clean brush and warm water/gentle soap will rarely be a problem. To be extra careful one could use an artists paintbrush, natural bristles, instead of a toothbrush.” Then you changed tune and said “Basically what I have been advocating all along. Loose the toothbrush and use a natural bristle artists brush” And you then said “Review my remarks again, I SAID TOOTHBRUSH. This is a charming pastime but....Ich bin müde!” I agree, you did say toothbrush but not quite in the way that you are implying. Word! NRN
Ken-Hawaii Posted September 1, 2019 Report Posted September 1, 2019 Ford, how about steam cleaning? Is 100oC likely to do any damage?
Brian Posted September 1, 2019 Report Posted September 1, 2019 I am not sure we have enough webspace or bandwidth for everyone to have the last say. Gives new meaning to the phrase "tit for twat..sorry....tat" Ok...enough of this. The best advice was given by Ford. That is to treat each one on a case by case basis and ASK questions before doing anything. Now I am locking this one, and if someone has more questions, start a new thread. But don't expect Ford to give conclusive advice on what to do every time. 1
