I attended a sword meeting Nanka Token Kai in Gardena Ca a while back and Mike Yamasaki quickly looked at this sword and said looked like Bingo Mihara but I don’t know what era it may be from. It was also in WW2 gunto fittings. What era would you guess?

Seems to be a sort of repeating pattern with Hamon with box like tops to activity. Hard to capture in pics but a little noi just under the peaks but little activity below. Well grained

Bingo Mihara is most often (but not always) some form of suguha. I am surpised that Mike would give that attribution for your sword, which has a hamon with a Shinto feel to me.

 

BTW, it is best not to lay a sword on the floor which is in fairly intact polish (and is a bit disrespectful to do so).
