Too many kanji I can't translate on this Japanese WW2 Navy sword. Why so many kanji ? What is it written? Please help. Thank you very much and best regards. Al Genkin.

Check out Takayama To and I think the smith is Masahiro,

 

but I am not a 100% sure at this time just a quick guess , I think it refers to anti rust steel and maybe who polished the blade ,but no doubt you will get the correct translation soon.
