Looking for "show piece" box, container, etc

Looking for a "show piece" box, container, etc with tons of calligraphy.

Something with a "Wow" factor, like what in the world is that?

Hi Greg, the red lacquer box is a large Jūbako (food storage container) that could be used as an end table, or not. The ceramic container is a Tokkuri, or sake container.   These are just what came immediately to mind, the Tokkuri are not very expensive, but a large Jūbako, like the one pictured will cost you.

Hi Steve. The red lacquer box is exactly what I'm looking for (the more calligraphy the better).

 

If I lived in your locale, would pick it up in a jiffy.

 

Anything smaller?

 

Shipping cost is the issue as you have also indicated.
