Ichihara Nagamitsu in koshirae

Listing a better than average example of a gendaito by Ichihara Nagamitsu. This piece has one of his naga-mei (long signature) variations and shows better quality in jihada than most I have seen. Hamon is the gonome often seen in this smith's work. Jihada is strongly stated with "chikei-like" activities throughout. The sword appears to be in its WWII era polish, and is in a bukezukuri koshirae with iron tsuba and a married fuchigashira. Tsukamaki appears recent and I recommend that this be redone. I will update shortly with dimensions.

$2,850 (plus shipping and PayPal).
