Translation please?

Picked up a Wakizashi, was told it wasn't signed but to my surprise there was a Mei(a little worn away) hidden partially by the habaki and under grime. Mekugi Ana also doesn't appear to be drilled so perhaps older than I thought.

It appears there are several generations of this Smith. But blade is in much to poor of polish to find out which.

Am I to assume this is a good quality Wakizashi if legit? It will be a first for me. Haha
