This Motoshige left a distinct impression on me with its history, and the fact it was recorded on the nakago.

Spent hours trying to find more on this duel, to no result, but enjoyable nonetheless . Anyone find any other conflict related stories recorded like this? (thinking more along personal searches, not the famous examples, have already finished both volumes on legends from sesko)

seems likely this occurred in the streets of kyoto inbetween factions vying for power. One of the asakura factions was beaten out of the city that year ( which would explain why theres little official record elsewhere)
