Thanks for posting this, Donald.

 

Several articles have been published about this house of gunsmiths and the artefacts they left behind, but each one has a new take on it. The house/workshop is a sort of museum, but I believe you need an appointment to see inside. Funnily enough, I have one of their guns, and was just handling another Inoue Sekiemon teppo on Monday!

Indeed, this is an interesting discovery. I hope it will be thoroughly investigated and well presented. We just seem to get over the "giving up the gun" trope!
