Surfson Posted May 19, 2019 Report Posted May 19, 2019 Presumably a lineage from Harima and this was made by the first generation of the lineage, the shodai. The second would be nidai, third sandai etc. Often the generations are father and son, but sometimes an unrelated or adopted trainee takes the master's name. Quote
