EdWolf Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 Hi David, You bayonet is made by National Denki under Kokura supervision. You can find more info about the markings here: http://oldmilitarymarkings.com/japanese_markings.html Best regards, Ed Quote
PNSSHOGUN Posted April 29, 2019 Report Posted April 29, 2019 Hello David, the Kyu Gunto is a Company Officer grade (lieutenant to captain) rank example in very nice condition. The blade is an oil tempered example common in these swords, however the overall fit and finish is quite high for a non traditional blade. The bayonet I will leave to someone more knowledgeable. Also, please refrain from using all capitals in titles and posts. Quote
