Translation help on Kashira and Fuchi. Photos added 4/27. Whose up for a challenge?

Trying to get help on these. On a Wakizashi I purchased. Kashira has writing on other side as well but can't get a good photo. The fuchi also has writing on the side(I'm thinking it might be part of a poem) but I cannot get a good enough photo(there is rust damage)

伊賀守藤原金道 - Iga no kami Fujiwara Kinmichi

 

On the kashira,

報國 - hokoku (patriotism)

In shape of an old kabuto (real “kabuto gane”, so to say ????)

It is a nice kashira. Condition looks a lot better in person too. Updated more photos of the rest. Probably impossible to make out what it says on the fuchi.

On the other side of the kashira, it looks like 兒嶋 髙德 (Kojima Takanori)

Thanks Steve! After looking at the kanji you wrote it sure seems to match up with it as much as I can tell.

 

I'm wondering if the xxxxing has something to do with the "theme" as well. I will have to do more research.
