I have problems translating some parts of a Hozon certificate for a Tsuba and would be grateful for any assistance.

That says 丸形 marugata 鉄槌目地 tetsu tsuchime ji 無文 mumon 無櫃孔 mu-hitsuana

 

Round in shape, hammered iron surface finish, no writing, no Hitsu holes.

I think that Mumon (無文) means no design or figure on the tsuba. Mon (文) in the usage means Monyou (文様 or 紋様).

That's a nice simple tsuba. I like it. Thanks for showing it to us!

It's a bit like ç„¡å° the chain of shops, Muji, or Mujirushi. No trademark! :rotfl: But not really. )
