I have tried to get this photo to post in the correct orientation, but it will not work for me , perhaps the Mods can rotate it please.

Can't read the mei, but looks like Choshu to me.

Images so much better especially the last set

Feels good when you get it right but we just need a close up of the signature (mei)

 

I wonder if it is from the attached image. The image size is 11" high

Nice thing as a pointer to Choshu is the design shows front and back whereas the likes of Bushu generally have the same mirror image both side

 

Mei: LH Seiriuken + kao RH Eiju ju

There is no doubt to me it is Choshu, perhaps Kawaji. Many artists in this group produced similar tsuba, some a little better than others. Example of mine in this theme, millet and leaves. John
