yurie Posted April 24, 2019 Author Report Posted April 24, 2019 It is maddening I did not get it all right. Yes of course. 惟(これ,this)時(とき,time)---- Yes, Thank you 森山さん(Mr. Moriyama)、 means this time in other word now. 壬辰(mizunoe tatsu)--- 年齢早見表 on the back of the cover page of Takashima Ekidan (高島易断) clearly shows that. Thank you very much. 由利江 Quote

BIG Posted June 10, 2019 Report Posted June 10, 2019 Thank's for sharing your Nobukuni Tanto, and the paper is nicely framed. Every time I visit your site, first join your very tasteful and elegant room. Best PS keep on going ... Quote
yurie Posted June 10, 2019 Author Report Posted June 10, 2019 Hi Peter, Thank you very much for saying that. I wished I could take a better picture of Nobukuni. Taking a good photo of sword is very difficult. I tried to take a picture of Boshi area Hamon and Jigane. But I could not do that. It was beyod me. Some people display an enlarged Hamon picture on face book. They look perfect. I assume that must be done by a professional. This level of photo is as good as I get. Thank you Yurie Quote
Hoshi Posted June 11, 2019 Report Posted June 11, 2019 Wonderful tanto indeed. For ambient light photo it's a nice photo! What I really like is that everything about these photos tells me this tanto is deeply cared for. Here is my tip: to make photos of the Jigane or the Hamon you need directed light sources and a relatively dark room. Beam the light directly on the blade and take a picture at an angle. Using multiple directed lights will make for even better results. 1 Quote
yurie Posted June 15, 2019 Author Report Posted June 15, 2019 Thnak you very much for the wonderful advice. I will follow your technique step by step. Dark room,-----beam light directly (multiple is better) -----take picture at an angle If I can take better picture, I will change to the better photo. Thank you. Yurie Quote
