Dear All

I've got photograph of gunto, but this gunto have unusual koshirae, it's like comander saber gunto, but the ornament forms little different, also the nakago,

And the blade it self, but looks like Hiromasa style katana blade,

According to you, is this katana is originally from Japan, or localy production, while i have not opened the nakago to see the mei, cause it is far away from city where i live,

Any info that gave, thank you

Hello Semar. I'm with Bruce, the Tsuka and maybe the Tsuba is genuine. I read that the Japanse had some Indonesian Troops recruited during WW2. Maybe the sword is from them? Could you look on the nakago of the blade?
