I have recently acquired this ten zogan tsuba.

The dimensions are 77.7 mm x 78.0 mm, thickness; at mimi 2.3 mm at nakago-ana 2.4 mm
It comes with a hako-gaki by Dr. Torigoye.
The iron is very dark brown, almost black and shows layering, visible in the nakag-ana and in the sukashi thikness. Also the mimi is quite interesting but I lack the terms to describe it.
There is no missing inlay and the brass has a dark patina with a bluish hue on most of it.

I think that the sukashi decoration represent butterfly wings but I am not shure.

My guess based on the iron and thickness is late Muromachi.

All comments are welcome.

Regards
Luca

Really nice tsuba! Early Onin with all the inlay intact are pretty hard to find; at least for me. Congrats on a good find.
