Hello and best regards from Spain,

I´m a collector owning a few spanish sables and militaria, but somehow what it seems to be an old WWII katana has step on my way.

It is said to proceed from EEUU so it might be one of those acquired by EEUU troopers and brought back home by then, or it might be a total fake....

In any case and by the advices i´ve got, it seems pretty original but I´m looking for help and in my desperate need for it, found this forum . Sorry I don´t have anything to offer on the Japanese sword world but advice if you are planning on visiting my beautiful country,,,,,

With your permission I´ll post some pictures of it, kindly appreciate any advice given as well as translation of the Mei.

 Many thanks in advancepost-4693-0-42580200-1539371105_thumb.jpgpost-4693-0-04643300-1539371106_thumb.jpgpost-4693-0-67723200-1539371106_thumb.jpgpost-4693-0-12352800-1539371107_thumb.jpgpost-4693-0-65126200-1539371107_thumb.jpgpost-4693-0-10465800-1539371108_thumb.jpg

In that case, I assume it is not a fake or falsification.

The other elements (tsuka, yakiba, saya,... ) look real and corresponding to a later shin gunto.

Correct me if i´m wrong, thanks again
