No stamp marks are apparent, but the owner should be posting more pics soon.

Thank you DaveM4P99 for starting this for me. Curious to know more about this piece. Now mind you, this is my first, so go easy on the lingo as I am learning from scratch.

 

Here are some more pics, there are no other stamps or markings on anything that I can see.

In the 3rd picture down, it seems as if there are some anamolous file marks that might have obscured an arsenal stamp; the mei as Stephen described is a common Showato inscription.
