adventurer_900 Posted August 16, 2018 Report Posted August 16, 2018 I have a question about mei on a Japanese sword. It reads "Hoki (no) kami Fujiwara (Hiro) Hirotaka - Echizen ju" There are 2 kanji for Hiro which seems odd. In your opinion, does this seem genuine or a gimei? Thank you for your help, it is much appreciated. Quote
UnoKubi Posted August 16, 2018 Report Posted August 16, 2018 Several red flags there, I'm afraid... Doesn't quite look as crude as a Chinese copy, though. Quote
