If i got this right and a seller can not give you negative feedback after you left him negative feedback starting this February, it's the best news from Ebay i could hope for, check your feedback, mine when up with their new system, new rules below.

"No negative or neutral Feedback for buyers

The previous system prevented buyers from leaving honest Feedback since they feared retaliation from the sellers if they left a negative. This made it harder for buyers to distinguish between sellers while making bidding or buying decisions. In addition, when buyers received negative Feedback, they reduced their activity in the marketplace, which in-turn harmed sellers."

Although some may not agree with your sentiment - I do - the only thing as a seller I ever could leave for feedback was whether or not I got paid , and you can address that in other ways. Most if not all sellers should leave positive feedback for a buyer if they pay quickly and the cash is in YOUR account before you ship the item.

Hi Stephen,

this is deja vu all over again.

Congratulation for your French

This expression is quite "americanized" by now. "This is deja vu all over again" is a famous quote by Yogi Berra, made into a song by John Fogerty.

No, I'm not *that* much into recent American history, but I heard that song just yesterday on the radio, and the dj explained the background 8).

i sold an item ,buy it now, 4 minutes after i had listed it then i get a lot of questions from the buyer who then decides he does not want the item .is it fair that i cannot leave him negative or neutral feedback????

now i will have to re list it which will look funny and not in a ha ha way

Hit him with a non-paying buyer; then it's his problem. If I understand the new rules, he can't give you negative feedback if he is shown to be a non-payer.

Relist and say it is being relisted because of a non-payer who never saw the sword.
