I have a wakizaschi by Sukesada.

Recently have "discovered" that the fuchi is signed - Anyone could translate the signature, please?

Thank you in advance.

The mei reads Seijo (清乗). Maybe one of Goto school.

However, I do not know if it is genuine or not.

Thank you very much!

How to determine if it's genuine or not? Any hint?

It's matching, silver (think so) set fuchi/kashira with peony pattern:

The finish on the surface with the signature as well as how it is attatched to the oval collar looks a little rough to be not a repro but maybe this artist finished the unseen parts like this. Wouldnt bet on it though!

I think we can safely rule out Goto school from this one?

The question is, are there others signing Seijo or is this just a gimei on silver fittings?
