Do we have any members in Finland ?? I have a package sent USPS and they lost it !! says it has been there for 11 days and nothing else

Two fluted seppa recently gold plated my Hiles plating in KC Mo. to DM Iowa

 

Ironic to what it took to get them back from Japan only to have them lost by USPS a state away!!!

Judging by current SA post...it can sit at customs for 6 weeks before being delivered! (If they even deliver it)
I wouldn't call 11 days a lost cause.
Hope your parcels arrive.
I decided after a long break to sell an item or 2 on eBay to get some needed funds in for online expenses.
2 parcels have not arrived after 6 weeks...I fear i may be refunding $300
Can't even insure small parcels here. So total loss. I HATE the SA Post office most days.

I replied so shortly before seeing this thread.

 

I think USPS tracking ends when the package arrives to Finland. Then it is tracked by Finnish customs. It might take a day or two from getting into country to get registered by Finnish customs, then they will send a note by Finnish post for the person that they will need to declare the package (that might take some days to arrive). Or you can do it before getting the notification by mail, if you know how to do it. I got non sword related package from the US earlier this month, and USPS tracking showed it being in Finland but it was maybe 4-5 days after that when I was able to declare it online (I don't think I ever got the paper notification by mail as I declared it so fast).

Fred i pray yours shows up, not that anyone cares, mine was sent back to plating co. for insufficient postage, should be here this week.

WOW there are miracles!!! After 21 days in the SYSTEM is showed up !!!!

 

I had to make only 6 calls to the USPS, file an international claim, have our post master call his boss, who called his boss

 

AND it is delivered!!!
