Is it correct?

Hello Ray,

thanks thats interesting. The very "rusty" (and i hope not to damaged) star stamped blade i found is  昭 和 二 十 年 三 月 showa ni ju nen san gatsu (March 1945).

Yours is not stamped? So Morimitsu produced as RJT smith and for special order?

There are no star stamps on my sword. Congrats on finding your sword. He was apparently an excellent smith.

Yours is very nice Ray. The koshirae looks very well made too.

I believe his teacher's names should be read 'Koyama Nobumitsu' and 'Suetsugu Shigemitsu' (not two separate smiths Suetsugu and Shigemitsu).

Ray, yes you are right! Suetsugu Shigemitsu is one smith!

I guess it is just a typo from Markus.... see his Shigemitsu entry!
