Hello Ray,

thanks thats interesting. The very "rusty" (and i hope not to damaged) star stamped blade i found is  昭 和 二 十 年 三 月 showa ni ju nen san gatsu (March 1945).

Yours is not stamped? So Morimitsu produced as RJT smith and for special order?

Yours is very nice Ray. The koshirae looks very well made too.

Ray i found these in the books about this morimitsu.

上作 (JO SAKU)
貴品の列 (Kibin no Retsu)
2nd seat (national swordsmith)
Rikugun Jumei Tosho (RJT)
Best cutting test 1941 listed in the Nihon Kendo oyobu Token 1943.

Wow thank you Klaus and Raymond. So much info. Klaus which book from Markus you use?

Hi Chris,

I use the sword smith index from Markus "eIndex SWORDSMITHS-AZ.pdf".

Very helpful! :)
