With the kanji

昭和癸未春

Spring, 1943

The smith uses a variant of 昭, but I can't reproduce the exact one.

満鉄鍛造之

Mantetsu kitae tsukuru kore (probably read in some other way, like "Mantetsu kitaete kore wo tsukuru")

Again the smith uses a variant of 満 that I cannot reproduce (or even find).

Without going to the books this stamp 南 is NAN - "south" - is it not??  Any significance in that meaning, or is it "just a stamp"??
