Looks nice! I heard the old shop was as big as a phonebooth (what are those?) so the upgrade should work out for them.

Guys, have you tried Sokkendo, Shingendo, Seikodo Iida Koendo, etc? If not, give it a go and then compare to Aoi.

Tried them all and had terrible experiences too but never a bad experience and never a regrettable purchase with Aoi.

 Wow - it looks like a big improvement compered to the last shop, and  has obviously invested a lot of money in the move, I  hope it all works out for Tsuruta San  and wish him well in his new premises , he certainly made me and a few friends  very welcome in the old shop and allowed us to have good look round .

I was going to say after Malcolms google search, they built a new building?? cant fathom what land goes for in Tokyo let alone cost building a new one, must be some tax write off for years to come.

White sign on the wall looks like 紘武館道場  Kōbukan Dōjō in red and in black 水鷗流古武術  which I think reads Suiō-Ryū Kobujutsu. ?

 

If you turn and click off down the street, you will see a few more building projects underway.

 

If anyone does, then Guido probably knows the price for land in the various areas of Tokyo.
