Vermithrax16 Posted April 25, 2018 Report Posted April 25, 2018 Looks nice! I heard the old shop was as big as a phonebooth (what are those?) so the upgrade should work out for them. Quote
Baka Gaijin Posted April 26, 2018 Report Posted April 26, 2018 Here it is, or isn't in September last year: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@35.6837679,139.7003503,3a,75y,290.4h,90.44t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1spBpr9Y_XH5qoyDI8zDWy9w!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en Looks really easy to find, I look forward to going there in November. 3 Quote
Gakusee Posted April 26, 2018 Report Posted April 26, 2018 Guys, have you tried Sokkendo, Shingendo, Seikodo Iida Koendo, etc? If not, give it a go and then compare to Aoi. Quote
Guest Rayhan Posted April 26, 2018 Report Posted April 26, 2018 Tried them all and had terrible experiences too but never a bad experience and never a regrettable purchase with Aoi. Quote
raaay Posted April 26, 2018 Report Posted April 26, 2018 Wow - it looks like a big improvement compered to the last shop, and has obviously invested a lot of money in the move, I hope it all works out for Tsuruta San and wish him well in his new premises , he certainly made me and a few friends very welcome in the old shop and allowed us to have good look round . Baka Gaijin Posted April 26, 2018 Report Posted April 26, 2018 Good evening Stephen, you see new building projects like this all over Tokyo, looks like there's a Martial Arts Dojo right next door: https://www.google.co.uk/maps/@35.6837124,139.7002702,3a,75y,282.03h,85.7t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1s6gTbsDdT0Hs7COaiunFLlA!2e0!7i13312!8i6656?hl=en White sign on the wall looks like 紘武館道場 Kōbukan Dōjō in red and in black 水鷗流古武術 which I think reads Suiō-Ryū Kobujutsu. ? If you turn and click off down the street, you will see a few more building projects underway. If anyone does, then Guido probably knows the price for land in the various areas of Tokyo. Quote
