Were they contraband in the camp or allowed?  How many are actually forged vs shaping of tool steel without folding and forging?  Interesting pieces!

Very interesting. It really does provide some credibility to the vet bring-back that are less than 'forge' quality. Impossible to distinguish them though I think.
