I am not sure if it is the right place for this ?

I have found In an old collection made in the 1930s, one bow (black and red) with 5 arrows.

These are in a small black leather bag with a gold mon ? on each side.
What do you think ?

Bernard, I notice they are target arrows that would normally be carried around in a tubular arrow case.  Just what this bag / cover is for I do not know having never seen one like it. I note it is slightly trapezoidal with a very shallow curve on the right side. The fact that it has a mon both sides suggests it is not a pouch that could be worn against the body. Good thing but what?

this is not an EBIRA nor another of the classic YAZUTSU! Very probably it is just a protection bag for the YA no NE, unless you find some cords attached that would have made it possible to carry the bag.

The mon on the bag is a variation of mokkō (Japanese quince). 

 

It kind of looks like #255 on the list below 唐木瓜内に三つ引き (kara mokkō nai ni mitsu hiki) - three bars in flowering quince
