I'm relatively new to this field and would appreciate any assistance on translating this sword tang if possible.  Thank you. I  have really enjoyed reading the post and articles in this site. Daniel

it seems to be a BIZEN OSAFUNE smith, probably YASUTSUGU as Kyle says. 

For better results, clean the NAKAGO (tang) carefully with your wife's toothbrush and care to have the light from the side when making photos

I say Bizen Osafune Ju Kanetsugu 兼継

very poorly cut, likely gimei but then the date looks to be Genki

so late late generation, low grade smith?
