I've got yesterday my Masayoshi type3 star stamp Gendaito with fresh polish from England. I take this evening some detailed pictures of the 66,4 cm (26") long blade. Hope you like the picturesque kikusui-ba hamon interpretation like i.

Many thanks to Alex who brings me to the sword.

And to Bill Tagg of liverpool militaria and Mr. Bolton who brings the sword back to life.

Thank you Ed.

Hello John. Thank you. With this sword came a late war tassel (brown one). But it is in such bad condition to store it with the sword in the bag. I took it in a extra box.

Lovely sword.

Who did the polish?

I’ve got an Akihisa in Type 3 mounts, in fairly acceptable WWII polish. Often wonder about getting her some love?
