(Kosaka) Ryu Masayoshi

I've got yesterday my Masayoshi type3 star stamp Gendaito with fresh polish from England. I take this evening some detailed pictures of the 66,4 cm (26") long blade. Hope you like the picturesque kikusui-ba hamon interpretation like i.

Very nice! There is something about the more subdued look of a type 3 that I find compelling, and yours is an amazing example.

Hello John. Thank you. With this sword came a late war tassel (brown one). But it is in such bad condition to store it with the sword in the bag. I took it in a extra box.

I think it deserves a nice good condition tassel to match the condition and new polish, and let the old one rest as it is.

Who did the polish?

I’ve got an Akihisa in Type 3 mounts, in fairly acceptable WWII polish. Often wonder about getting her some love?
