Nice Fittings ? Need Help

  Hello friends.

 

I was lucky and got a little tanto with nice fittings. The blade is in bad shape. I really like Tsuba, Fuchi and Menuki.

 

I have some questions and hope that the members can help me.

 

What does the signature of Fuchi mean?

What is the quality of Tsuba, Fuchi, Menuki?

How old ?

The signature is 藻柄子入道宗典製 - Sōheishi Nyūdō Sōten sei.

Probably gimei. Nice piece, anyway.

You ask about quality.  Compare the workmanship of the fuchi with the tsuba.  What would you conclude?
