When two great artist collaborate..  :)

 

Like Mifune and Kurosawa

 

Speaking of Mifune,

I watched many Miyamoto Musashi Movies, and, many have Musashi spending a lot of time with/around Honami Koetsu.

But, according to the written history, they did not seem to be that close.

If you really want to get into Honami and Sotatsu, study the Rinpa School of Art.

Also, try watching Suichi Kato's documentry about the Rinpa School and how it he feels it changed the world of Art.
