Ed Posted December 30, 2019 Report Posted December 30, 2019 Thanks guys. I picked that up in Japan and had it polished, papered and the new saya made for it. Probably the only sword my daughter will keep since I had it done for her. Tsuba, that's another story, she likes them more than swords simply due the maintenance required for swords. She probably has somewhere in the neighborhood of 30 tanto tsuba. 2 Quote

Vermithrax16 Posted January 20, 2020 Author Report Posted January 20, 2020 A late Christmas gift from a dear friend (like a brother to me really) but clearly he was listening when I talked about Japanese arts and rabbit motifs. A wood rabbit netsuke, it's an unexpected and loved gift: 2 1 Quote

Spartancrest Posted January 21, 2021 Report Posted January 21, 2021 It is a good thing Walt Disney didn't see those rabbits - or we would have had 'Usagi' the flying rabbit, Dumbo could never have competed. https://www.jauce.com/auction/533149538 3 1 1 Quote
