Just a heads up... I am photographing swords for the series of books on swords in North American Collections still. I will be in New York doing photography on April 28, 29, and then in Chicago May 1,2,3.

I'm interested as usual in shooting any good reference sword no matter the type, paper, and age. I will be publishing shinsakuto with the gendaito when I get that far down the line, so they are eligible too.

Please contact me if you're planning on bringing in items for photography. Juyo items I need to copy oshigata and get the zufu translated to present the NBTHK comments.

Anyone bringing in swords will be welcome to digital high resolution pictures of their sword, or a frameable print.

I shot 27 swords this time in New York, including several brought up from Boston, and am headed to Chicago tomorrow.

Hoping to see a lot of you at the show, and hopefully will be keeping me busy!
