tsuba Seal - Yama Xx ?

This tsuba is signed with a gold nunome zogan seal. I gess first kanji is Yama. But can someone decipher the second kanji ?

As I did not receive a clue in October last year, I try again. Has someone some views on the seal meaning? Thank you

My first thought was 宿 or maybe 百 which would make the two 

 

山宿 or

山百

 

But neither of these stand out as plausible names one would find on a seal. 

Maybe it will inspire someone else to chip in with a more likely candidate.

and why not 山室 for Yama Muro? I see in Haynes that it is a Family name.
