I was very fortunate to be invited to the official opening of the Samurai Arts Museum in Berlin.
The opening of this museum is the most significant event in decades for us collectors.

Very nice to have such a museum in Germany now. Now i have a reason to visit Berlin.

Just a few words from my side:

 

Mostly you can see Armour. But you can find something for everyone who is interested in Samurai culture. Swords, mountings and kodogu.

 

I just show you a few photos because you have to see it for yourself.

The table cases in Uwe's panoramic photos are full of koshirae and kodogu of a quality that is astounding  As Dave has said the storerooms also have very many more mounted swords and shelves filled with kodogu - so plenty of material for rotation.
