Higo-san Posted October 9, 2017 Report Posted October 9, 2017 That Teimei tsuba is a steal... some of these sold at a Van Ham auction in Germany two years ago for approximately EUR 750 to EUR 1400 per piece...
Leporello Posted October 9, 2017 Author Report Posted October 9, 2017 Thanks, Chris! I didn´t notice this price trend on Teimei tsuba. So you think, I´m too cheap? Btw: There is no discolouration at the Teimei, it´s only a matter of illumination!
roger dundas Posted July 13, 2020 Report Posted July 13, 2020 Here we are at July 13, 2020 and I have had the real pleasure of dealing with Tom/Leporello for two of the above Nos. 10 & 11 plus a fine tsuba from January 2020, 'Kaneie marked but also having 3 sword cuts/battle scars on the mimi . Initially it was the Heianjo Yoshiro tsuba I came for (belatedly) but I couldn't help myself. Bazza put me on track in my search for a tsuba with this particular brass inlay, so I have two members to thank plus a further kindness by Tom. Barry has always been generous in helping me let me say. The mail service between Germany and Australia struggles a bit but we got there in the end. Roger j
