I would be most grateful for any help in identifying the school/age of the tsuba in the accompanying photographs. It is of shakudo with a ground of nanako with a dragon of gold takazogan weaving, in and out, from one side of the tsuba to the other. the nanako extends fully around the edge of the tsuba.

I agree with you it's a pretty ugly piece of work :laughing: Unfortunately it wishes to remain with the remainder of the koshirae it belongs to and with the Suriage blade housed within it. I'll let you know if I come across a loose one I can send you.
